Hi friend...

To resolve such problem you have to do factory reset.
Following are the steps you have to follow to do this:-
1. switch off your tab.
2. now you have to put on volume up.
3. Then press power and home button simultaneously...
4. You will enter into menu option.
5.select setting.
6. go to factory reset...
After doing this if the problem is not resolved then you should contact to the service center to do this...
they will unlock the pattern as well as update your tablet...
